A very nice, large Fenton blue opalescent hobnail vase, measuring 8 inches tall. The pictures don't show this well, but the opalescence is strong and moves from the very top curvature of the vase through the double crimp, nicely and evenly. This color and pattern began production in 1939 and was produced in various shapes and sizes until the 1950s. This shape dates from the 1940s. Large vases in this color are quite hard to find now - we priced this one to roll out the door.
