This paperback book measuring 7 1/2 by 5 inches is dubbed the New Book of Tricks, but based on the illustrations and language, it was quite dated even in the 1940s and had a very long run by the publisher. Wehman Brothers was famous for its little books on everything from jokes and magic to bar tending! The publisher I think survived into the 1960s, possibly longer. This great little book will provide hours of amusement because of the language and illustrations! Great condition with super good binding, and great cover. The pages are are yellowed as expected by age, giving it a great look!
