I love this pattern. It's only found in compotes, and if you can find one in green, with the very magical silvery iridescence like this one, then you have the prettiest example. Some say Northwood's blackberry pattern is more "desirable". Not me. I like this one. It's understated and elegant, not too busy. The compote is free of damage, and has no large detracting straw marks (a hair thin one can be found if you look for it on the top of the smooth interior portion). Two fleabites observed on the bottom, probably in the making from pulling from the mold, as the actual edge of the foot is clean. Insignificant for old glass but mentioned to be complete for our collectors. Measures 6 inches in diameter and 4 1/2 inches tall. Nice!
