A gold gilt Sino-Tibetan snuff bottle that we can clearly date because it has a Guangxu reign mark. This us a very uncommon mark to see on antique bottles, as many have apocryphal Qianlong mark to indicate they ore of that style or motif. In this case, they meant what the mark says, and research has shown us other examples sold by the large auction houses so marked (for astronomical prices). This one has only very minor wear, and has the original top and spoon is intact. Very detailed metal work. Measures 2 1/2 inches tall or 6.4 cm. A really nice, genuine antique snuff bottle of the genre. We'll be glad to answer any questions or send additional pictures.
