Talk about a product destined to fail - delicious, charcoal gum! It probably tasted OK but it sounds dreadful. This box is in super shape and was meant to hold Mounds candy bars but doubles as an advertisement for the new charcoal gum. The charcoal gum was a 1940s, WWII era product, that required less sugar and no coconut, which was in short supply like virtually everything else. Very cool item! Box is good sized, measuring 11" X 5" X 2".
