Specialty chain, this time, dark and edgy, Satellite style, a blackened chain with tiny square stations.
The belle of the ball is the beautiful combination double Tourmaline pendant.
At the top, a delicate pastel pink oval faceted Tourmaline leads the eye to a sizzling round bead of Sterling Opal lab-cultured black Opal with rainbow bands flashing.
The best is at the bottom a Watermelon Tourmaline Gem Slice in classic red/green Rubellite and Verdite.
The necklace is finished with a Silver crab clasp and green crystal beads.
These Sterling Opal bead earrings will wear well and require less care than normal fragile Opals.
Normal care, such as the kind you would do for a fine Pearl should give you long wear.
Sterling Opal is the name of these beautiful little true lab created synthetic Opal rondelles.
The material used is a manmade product, these lovely beads have all the shimmer glow and sparkle of earth produced gemstones.
GIA the Gemological Institute of America has identified them to be the same chemically, optically and physically as their mined natural counterparts. The only difference is one is mined from the ground and synthetic is created in a lab.

Sterling Opal has created a new lab-cultured  gemstone that combines the play of color and distinctiveness of genuine opal with the economic pricing of synthetic opal.
It is the unique look and the brilliant play of color that sets Sterling Opal apart from any other lab grown opal manufacturer.
The official gemological definition of a synthetic stone REQUIRES that it must have the same composition as the natural stone in order to be called synthetic.   It must be the same chemically, optically and physically as their mined natural counterparts.  The only difference is one is mined from the ground and synthetic is created in a lab.
