This show stopping ring in fine platinum is truly a unique vintage piece, convertible from a ring to a pendant. The diamonds are just dazzling, the way the light dances on them is stunning to behold and cannot be truly appreciated except in person.
32 gorgeous tapered baguettes and 18 round diamonds with an approximately 5ct twt, with fine VS clarity GH color, surround the center focal, a Marquise Brilliant that measures at 14.8mm x 6.47mm x 3mm, I1, irradiated.
Face of the ring measures 27mm x 17.5mm and rises 12mm above the finger. The ring has a secure safety latch on the underside of the mount, designed incredibly well as the latch actually has to pass through the center of the shank in order to be removed to be worn as a pendant, rest assured there is no chance of losing the piece when worn. The latch then serves as a bail which enables you to pass a chain through it. Chain shown with pendant is for photographic purposes only and is not included.
The ring is a US size 7, sizeable, in fine platinum with a hefty weight of 15.55 grams. There are several markings inside the shank which have been mostly rubbed out but the ring has been tested as platinum.
The ring will include a certification from an independent laboratory that does not sell jewelry. The lab only provides unbiased appraisals, using state of the art equipment, and only employs GIA graduates. They are located in the diamond district of NYC, and have given this beauty a replacement value of $12,900.00 USD.
