For your consideration is a 1930 Leica I camera with original lens cap and leather case. This is the camera that started the 35mm revolution. The camera has the Leitz Elmar 1:3.5 F=50mm lens. The camera shows some brassing and vulcanite pulling loose with one piece off but there, as shown. The camera was tested and it is functioning but has been stored in a closet for the last 50 years so it could use a good cleaning and going over. The camera is being sold in original, as-found condition. Serial #42308. This is a new estate purchase from the second owner (a former US Marine) who purchased the camera in Europe after WWII.
