This is a seven piece watermelon platter and serving plates. I believe this set qualifies for the antique section, but because it is unmarked, I am listing it in the Pottery aisle. The last three pictures that I have listed show a set with the same pictures. These pictures are on page 175 of my "Decorative American Pottery and Whiteware" book by Jeanie Klamm Wilby. This same pattern was used by other American Potteries during the early 1900's. I am confident that this set is from that period. The platter measures 12 3/4" x 9 1/4". There is a shallow chip on the front side that can be seen in my pictures. The six smaller plates measure 8 3/16". They have no chips or cracks, but they do show crazing, paint flakes and stains on some. This is still a great example of early American Art Pottery. Please email me with any questions.
