This is a seven piece berry or salad bowl set that is made by two different companies. The large bowl has a clipper ship decal in the center and the edges of the bowl are a golden luster color. The bottom of the bowl is marked "Thompson - Madison" and measures 9 3/16". It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, but it does show some crazing. There are six small bowls, but three of them are not marked. They also have a ship decal that is a little different than the large bowl and measure 5 1/2". They have about the same amount of luster as the large bowl. They, too, are in very good condition with no chips or cracks but show crazing. The other three small bowls are marked "Homer Laughlin". They have the exact same decal as the other three small bowls. They do, however, show more luster on the edges and measure 5 1/2". They are in very good condition with no chips or cracks and show crazing. Although this set is a "marriage", it is in very good condition. I believe that all pieces probably date from about 1915 to 1925. Please email me with any questions.
