This is a great pair of mid-century bookends. They show a horse figure standing in front of a fence. They measure about 5 1/2" tall, 5" wide and about 2 1/2" deep. These types of bookends were usually filled with sand to make them heavier. I believe they were made in Japan, but they are not marked. They would be great for a child's room. They are in very good condition for their age. I only find a tiny glaze flake on the corner of one of the fences, but there are no chips or cracks. Please email me with any questions.
