This stately papier mâche doll certainly makes an impression, as I am sure she did during the years she was on display at the Yesteryears Doll Museum (formerly in Sandwhich MA). She is beautiful with a serene expression.
Words cannot describe (nor my photos do justice to) her fabulous human hair wig with it's multi-strand braided loops and braided bun. Her inset glass eyes are deep and dark.
Her body is finely shaped and retains its pink tint (although faded with time) finish.
She is display ready in a lovely damask gown trimmed with organdy, white undergarments and brown fabric shoes, ready to take her place in a fine collection of early dolls.
Condition: Very good, one small, old patch on her leather arm. Her kid body and her wig are soft and her painted features are good. Dress shows slightest wear from age.
