Stepping out of the pages of La Semaine de Suzette is the good-hearted and amusing character known to the world as Becassine. This example is a perfect little package with her hankie in hand and basket and umbrella over her arms. Her Stockinette face has a needle-molded nose and painted features. Her legs are yarn wrapped to depict her striped stockings. She most likely dates to the 1960s.
Maker: Doll is unmarked but has all the characteristics of the Becassines made by Minerve.
Condition: good, clean, all original, no stains of bad smells
