This hard-to-find cloth character doll was sold by Kammer and Reinhardt and was advertised in their 1927 catalog.
He has a stockinet head on a wire armature body and is dressed in his original clothing of felt cotton, silk and paper(collar). He has the wooden feet which most of these dolls have. I love the wire monocle and his cigar, is his full of personality!
Condition: Some overall fading and shelf dust to clothing. His nose is worn at the tip which tends to happen on these characters due to the solid form under the stockinet that helps shape them. A bit of wire is poking through his felt hand (see photo).
