This is a late Victorian (circa 1890) marble top parlor or lamp table. It is made of walnut and the shape of the top veined marble is normally called a turtle top table. Especially interesting is that the stretcher has a carved dog on it. I have had a couple others with dogs on the stretcher but this table is larger and of higher quality than most. Note the beveled carved legs and the carved skirt on each side. In very good original condition as you can see from the photos. Probably once had casters on each leg which could be easily added if you so desire. Overall size of the table is 37 long, 24 deep, and 28 high. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will help arrange shipping for you; my experience with large or small has been excellent. I do offer an easy layaway program. Usually just 20% down with the remaining term somewhat negotiable---I try to be very flexible on this. Just email to discuss layaway terms. I guarantee everything I sell to be authentic - no exceptions. I have been in business over 30 years and my reputation is without flaw. Contact me for further information about our online catalog which has photos of all of our current inventory. We normally have additional photos in our catalog. Thanks for looking!
