These earrings (along with its matching pendant) are stunning examples of Native American craftmanship! Purchased in West Yellowstone in the early 2000's, these dangling beauties show off stunning man-made blue opal combined with natural, polished turquoise and accented by a fine sterling silver inlay. It's tough not to stare at the array of colors in this pendant - light greens, darker greens, black detail work, shiny silver and brilliant, sparkly blue opal. Back of each earring is marked with "sterling", but no artist hallmark unfortunately. This piece was likely made by either a Zuni artist or Navajo. Zuni silversmiths are known for their amazing inlay work - but Navajo silversmiths have created pieces like this as well.

Earrings are just over 1.5" in total length, 0.75" at top of earrings (widest point of inlay). Each earring weighs approx. 2.7g.

Condition: Stones and inner inlay are in great condition! No scratches on silver. Earring connections are in good shape as well, no scratches or dents. Silver corner on each end (similar to a corner on the pendant appears to be slightly bent, but inlay is solid.
