Antique steel crochet hooks with protective metal shield circa 1870. Three incredibly small steel crochet hooks are hinged to a metal holder and can be folded away into a protective shield. These steel crochet hooks were used to make very fine lace or crochet projects such as small doll clothes. The hooks are in excellent condition and could be used today. Some wear to finish on crochet needles themselves. The case was originally painted black and has lost most of its finish due to age and usage.
Size: 4 3/8 inches long
Condition: Used antique condition with loss of finish as shown both to case and crochet needles.
