Vintage medical advertising pocket mirror, Nature's Remedy Tablets. This mirror pictures a Nature's Remedy pill on a person's tongue. This is a small pocket sized mirror made of lithographed celluloid with a mirror on the reverse. Advertising mirrors were one of the first promotional products salesmen used to promote their merchandise. This mirror was made by the Parisian Novelty Co in Chicago. Parisian Novelty was one of the major makers of advertising mirrors. The edge is smooth without wrinkling and is stamped with the maker's mark. There is no loss of celluloid. Age related loss to some silvering on the mirror is present.
