Duke of Wellington portrait bronze bust plaque circa 1840. These busts were made between 1825 and 1855. The portrait is a finely detailed profile of the Duke of Wellington in his full dress uniform. Very three dimensional with nice aged patina. The dark color at temple ant eye are very exaggerated in photos. The plaque has two metal posts on back with a screw for mounting onto back for framing. Plaque can be displayed as is or mounted and framed. Would look well in a study or bookshelf.
