Art Deco cast iron lady bookends circa 1920. Pair of bookends featuring dancing lady with billowing fabric and bobbed hair. They have a bronze color finish and have an incised mold mark on back of 73. There is evidence that they had green felt glued to the bottom, which is no longer present. The finish is in good shape with the exception of a small loss of finish on the top of base of one lady.
If calculated shipping is too expensive, this can fit in a flat rate medium box. The bookends are heavy and weigh over 5 pounds.
Date: Circa 1920
Marks: Impressed number 73 on back of bookend
Size: 5 7/8 inches. These are heavy and weigh almost 5 pounds by themselves.
Condition: Overall excellent condition with loss of finish in small area on top of one of the lady’s bases and loss of original green felt under base. Please see photos
