Necklace is composed of three rows of absolutely gorgeous creamy, not pure white, imitation pearls in graduated sizes. Can be worn loosely –they are strung together so that they do not lie separately and flatly upon the neck, but gently overlap slightly to give an ‘oh so glam look’. They can be twisted also for a totally different effect.
Pave set crystal clear rhinestones are found in the end findings. Shepherd’s hook also has a finishing stone as well as MARVELLA PAT PEND. The chain is all sparkly rhinestones with a large Imitation pearl at the end.
Condition is pristine. This fabulous set has been well taken care of. Comes in Blue velvet Marvella box. Dates from the 1930’s. Measures 14-3/4” end to end. Strung beads measure 11-1/3”. Largest pearl is just over 1/4” in diameter. Chain is 2” in length not including the pearl. The photos of the pearls worn on the neck show them in their best light.
