This stunning necklace features individually prong set chaton AB stones suspended from a plated gold looped etched chain. The rhinestones have a dramatic and elegant look to them as they have been placed on the diagonal, rather than being either horizontal or vertical. Each set of two stones have been placed within one golden section that holds them securely in the diagonal position.
All rhinestones have gorgeous luster and fiery pastel sparks emanating from them. All stones are in excellent condition, no surface scratches at all – smooth tops, all perfectly matched.
This piece has been lovingly cared for. Gold plating is in wonderful condition, shiny, shiny, and shiny.
Single row chaton stone chains are found on either side of the necklace. It is adjustable and has a shepherd's hook closure with a finishing stone. Other end of chain also has a larger finishing stone at its end. Necklace is extremely flexible.
Measures 16" x 5/8". Each end chain is 3" in length. Back of necklace is signed Hattie Carnegie © within a raised oval cartouche. Elegant piece is in beautifully excellent condition, having little to no wear to the heavy gold plating. Looks great from the back. Dates from the late 1950's to 1960's.
