Loads of chaton rhinestones in shades of peachy slightly pinkish amethyst are accented on this lovely japanned brooch. I took so many photos because the colors seem to catch light and change in both intensity and shade. Brooch is composed of a floral display of marquis shaped leaf like forms in black enameled (japanned) metal extending from a raised vein of pave set rhinestones. One end crosses over the other end at the bottom of the brooch. Measures 2-3/4” x 1-5/8”. The only wear at all is on the back of the pin where some of the enamel has worn away, exposing some dark silver metal peeking through. Not a lot and it does not show when worn. This is really a very pretty, charming and unusual brooch.
