This is a very high quality brooch made by the Craft Company. At one time it was known as Gem-Craft. The signature dates it to around 1979.
Probably designed by Gene Verre (Verrecchia) who, at age 22, was the head designer for Coro for more than 30 years. He created the Coro Duettes. He left Coro in the 1960’s and started the Gem-Craft Company. Many of his creations were made for Oscar de la Renta and Kenneth J Lane.
