Vintage bracelet with 10K gold charm dates from the 1940’s. The bracelet is marked 1/20 12K GF on the spring ring clasp. It also has a hallmark that I can’t make out. Chain is composed of large twisted oval links with infinity links connecting them. Bracelet measures 7-1/2” long and is just over 1/4” wide at the large links.Condition is excellent. Clasp works well and bracelet shows no sign of wear.
The charm features a raised design on the front that may be a sorority symbol…or perhaps a fraternity charm given to a sweetheart. It was prodiced by LG Balfour and has his mark LGB as well as 10K on the back. Charm measures 5/8” x 1/2".
Lloyd Garfield Balfour founded LG Balfour Company in 1913. During the 1940’s, The company was known to make class rings, fraternity and sorority jewelry and other items.
