Five large mother of pearl cut and polished abalone oval shells have been prong set into a raised silver tone setting. There are five panels – each with a beautiful rarely found domed cabochon. Colors seem to change when bracelet is tilted or in different light settings. Please note that each shell selected has rainbows in a circular pattern in the very center, almost like the eye of a storm or like the rings found inside trees. Circles start out larger on the outside and work their way to the inside of the shell, getting smaller and smaller.
Bracelet measures 7-1/4”. Each cab is 3/4"L x 5/8” W.
I suspect that it is brass (being that the clasp is brass and it weighs about the same as brass and the bracelet does not stick to a magnet). Metal is Painted or coated in a very lovely silvery matte finish – not shiny. Condition is very good – only wear is on the clasp and you can see a thin scratch in the center of a couple of links. Not noticeable when worn. The finish on the links is thinner than the finish on the rest of the bracelet. Other than the links, the silver tone finish is in beautiful condition.
