Bolo style silver tone necklace features the Olympian God, Bacchus, also known as Dionysus. His name depends on whether you refer to Greek or Roman mythology. He was the God of Wine, Theater and Revelry. There was never a dull moment when he was around.
This lustrous shiny silver tone pendant necklace gleams and glistens a lot more than my photos show. Not sterling, but just as bright and beautiful. Bacchus' face has a tiny pebbled background accented with raised polished silver tone open lips, nose and eyes. The eyes are black matte enamel. His lovely beard is very detailed as well. He is portrayed with shiny bright horns.
A long flexible snake chain runs through the back of the pendant. The ends feature conical shaped tips. The chain can be worn at various lengths as you can see in the photos. Pendant has a closed back so that the chain slides easily, but will not crimp when adjusted.
Pendant is signed Trifari© with a crown above.
Necklace measures 31-1/2" in length. Bacchus is 1-5/8" x 1-3/4". Condition is excellent.
