Victorian brooches or pins dating from the late 1800's to the early 1900's have been painstakingly hand painted with lovely deep burgundy and pink roses in a garden setting.
These are painted very nicely – especially the larger one- it has been incredibly hand painted (in the Limoges style without using a transfer). Better than most that one sees. You can see the lovely blue sky blended into sunny soft yellow shades running vertically near the center.
Small brooch, also hand painted, is framed with gold gilt around the edge.
Brooches measure 1-3/4" and 1/1-8" in diameter. They are beeeeeauuuutiful.
Large brooch has an old "C "clasp closure. Small brooch has been repaired and now has a more modern clasp assembly securely glued on to its back.
