Glorious gold plated brooch is really something unusual and different. Features Florentine or textured gold plating on the very top layer with polished gold plating beneath.
During the day, the brooch can be worn with the diamente rhinestones hidden. At night, simply turning the outer ring exposes the rhinestones. You don't have to settle for just open or closed positions. As you can see in the photos, this brooch looks fabulous showing just a slit of rhinestones. You can show as little or as much rhinestones as you wish. This gives the brooch many different looks.
My photos do not show the gleaming gold plated sections as well as I would like. I use a macro lens. It looks much, much better in person. The condition is very good vintage.
Kramer started using their diamente rhinestones in the 1960's.
Measures just about 2" in diameter. All stones are present and sparkly. Dates from the 1960's.
Shown Silverplated on page 209 in Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry by Marcia Sparkles Brown.
She prices the silver plated brooch at $200. Back is signed KRAMER AND PAT PEND ON BACK
