Stunning flower brooch (I believe it is a lily) by Kramer is finely detailed and just gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.
Leaves with open work tapered cut outs are fashioned in a Florentine finish. Bottom leaves are gently turned under a bit and have a highly polished smooth gold tone finish.
Bursting forth from the center of the flower are stamens comprised of golden rods with tear drop or Pear Shaped Rhinestones at the tip of each rod.
Condition is very good vintage. Last two petals on the right are the only ones that show any sign of wear at all. Rhinestones have a lot of sparkle and bling to them. Several of them have darkened slightly at the tips, as can be expected from age, but they still sparkle plenty and do not take away any of this brooch's beauty.
This brooch has a substantial weight of 39.5 grams. It is feminine, yet extremely sturdy. Probably dates from the 1940's to early 50's.
Measures 2-7/8" x 2-7/8". Back has the KRAMER signature within an oval cartouche.
