Gorgeous brooch’s Leaves or wavy extensions are fashioned in gold tone metal, while the pave set rhinestones are set into silver tone metal. The quality of Jomaz Jewelry is outstanding. This piece is no exception.
The texturing of the leaves or extensions is amazing. Texturing kind of reminds me of a peanut shell, only much more elaborately done. Has a hammered affect with teeny tiny etchings all over the golden leaves. If you think the photos look good, you should see this piece in person.
Features a large three simulated pearl cluster at the end or the beginning of the brooch. Just depends on how you wish to wear it. Layered beneath and extending upwards are two silver tone wavy sprigs encrusted with glimmering clear sparkling rhinestones.
Extremely versatile - can be worn in just about any position. Looks marvelous however it is worn.
The very utmost of beauty, quality, design and workmanship is what you will find in this piece.
Jomaz was founded by Joseph Mazer after he left the original Mazer jewelry company.
I was able to identify this brooch as Jomaz because of the matching earring signed Jomaz. As you can see, they are identical versions of the same exact design. Definitely both were made by Jomaz.
The brooch is marked with an E. Earring is signed Jomaz and has a patent number as well, dating it to 1952.
Condition is absolutely fabulous. I can see no signs of wear what so ever. Brooch MEASURES 2" X 1".
I am throwing in the earring. It would make a lovely pendant or pin to compliment the larger brooch.
