I have four of these great candlesticks. I am selling them in sets of two. Price is for one set.
Wonderful set of Art Deco Candlesticks from Paden City Glass.
There is some confusion regarding these candlesticks. They were made by Paden City Glass, but in "Glass Candlestick Book Volume Three by Felt and Stoer, they are identified as No.221 Line candlesticks known to collectors as Maya. Also sometimes called Butterfly,
However The Enclyclopedia of Paden City Glass by Carrie and Jerry Domitz they are identified as crystal #555 Candlesticks. Even the experts can't agree on this pair. I'm sure they both agree that they are lovely.
Owls... to me sometimes they look like glass owl candlesticks. Look at the photos and you can see what I mean. It all depends on your perception.
Bases have a lovely floral sterling silver overlay that is marked `Sterling'. These candlesticks are crystal clear .
Condition is mint on three of these. One has sustained a chip at the tip of one of the wings. Other than this there are no other chips or cracks. A slight amount of wear on some of the silver, but as you can see in the photos they look marvelous.
The double photos are shots of the both front and back of each set.
I will take 14 dollars off the chipped set. Please mention this when placing your order so that I can make the price adjustment.
