A vision in white.
Lovely lady captures the spirit of being thankful. You can see that her whole body is just so filled with emotion.
This is from the Images Series by Royal Doulton. She was designed by Pauline Parsons.
I had a dickens of a time trying to photograph this lovely image. It is so hard for me to shoot white figurines. She looks about 400% better in person. Then you can really appreciate her form, the tilt of her head, the positioning of her arms and hands pressed together, as in a prayer of thanks and grateful relief.
Photos don't show her face too well. It is delicately shaped and expressive. Also the flowing folds of her gown as shown in the photos do not even come close to seeing them in person.
This is one beautiful statue to be sure and you won't be disappointed with this lovely miss. She is highly glazed and in perfect condition. Only the slightest amount of shelf wear, as to be expected, is visible.
She measures 8.75" H x 3.25" W x 3.25"D.
