Up for sale is a wonderful antique 19th century handmade 4 gallon stoneware pottery crock.
It's made by hand out of thick pottery walls with a salt glaze and embellished with elaborate hand applied "parrot on plum' cobalt detailing.
The crock features dual handles, a nice silhouette, and is stamped '4' on the face.
It measures 12 inches tall by 12 inches wide.
There are several glaze/ surface chips throughout and a hairline on the bottom as shown in photos but seams to be very sound.
