This antique gold barrel charm is studded with eight, red, coral cabochons, six on the sides and one on either end. The Victorian charm measures approximately .8 of an inch from end to end and .56 of an inch across at the widest point of the barrel, large enough to also be worn as a pendant on a chain or necklace. The charm is not marked by tests as 18 karat gold and it weighs 3.4 grams. It was removed from an early estate charm bracelet and retains the bail although that should be soldered to ensure the charm is securely fastened. The keg form of the charm is typical of the Victorian era and it is in excellent condition.
