This vintage sterling silver charm bracelet has double round links and twisted double oval links and is 8 inches long and approximately 0.375 inches wide with a working push type clasp marked STG and a side safety catch. Including the charms, the sterling silver bracelet weighs 45.5 grams. There is a total of 12 charms, 3 of which are stamped as sterling and 9 that are unmarked and either plated or a lower grade of silver. Some are rhodium plated and others have age related oxidation.
The charms include the following: • crossed keys with triple crown that looks like the coat of arms of Vatican City; • an open book with the Irish toast ‘May you land in Heaven 1/2 hour before the Devil knows you're dead’; • an Irish harp (this is marked but illegible); • camel; • pair castanets; • puffy fish with blue rhinestone eyes (sterling silver with Mexican eagle mark on fins); • articulated transport truck (mechanical - cab part moves from side to side and up and down); • filigree bell with faux pearl clapper; • purse with faux turquoise on one side and faux coral on the other; • matador; • good luck horseshoe embossed Happy Birthday (marked as sterling silver); and, • plique a jour type fish with transparent red body and green eye (marked as sterling silver).
The bracelet and charms are all in excellent vintage condition.
