This vintage Native American cuff bracelet is signed Al Joe and was made by the award winning Navajo silversmith, Alfred Joe, who has designed and hand crafted jewelry since the mid 1970's. This wonderful early example of his work has a large, oval turquoise with golden brown matrix, bezel-set in the center of an intricate array of fabulous three-dimensional sterling silver orbs, feathers, and swirls. The beautiful turquoise stone is approximately one inch by three quarters of an inch and has a smooth, polished surface. The stunning bracelet is large and very eye-catching measuring 1 3/4 inches wide at the center, tapering to 3/8 inch at the ends. It measures a tad under 2 1/2 inches from side to side and has a circumference of about 7 inches including the 1 1/2 inch opening. The bracelet tests as sterling silver and weighs 46.1 grams. It has an attractive patina and is in excellent condition.
