This antique English sugar basket is hallmarked for Thomas Bradbury & Sons, London, 1905 on both the basket and the underside of the handle. It is a very attractive piece that has a scalloped and reeded edge on the footed bowl and a reeded swing handle. The piece measures 3 7/16 inches high from the base of the pedestal to the highest point of the bowl and 5 1/2 inches to top of swing handle. It is 5 1/8 inches long and 3 ½ inches wide and the basket weighs 133 grams. It has never been monogrammed and is in excellent condition with only light marks from polishing or use that are only noticeable on close inspection and do not detract.
