This charming antique sterling silver pin is hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 with the makers' mark of Crisford & Norris. The brooch is beautifully designed and detailed, incorporating a variety of engraving, layering and fine edge beading with the sentimental Victorian symbols of the joined heart and leaf motifs. It is approximately one and a half inches long and half an inch wide with a c-clasp and extended pin. The sterling silver brooch is solid and weighs 3.1 grams. There is some play in the pin back within the tube hinge however this does not affect the function or look and this early brooch is otherwise in excellent condition and would make a wonderful gift for someone special.
