This very cool modernist floral ring is marked STER on the inside of the shank however there is no mark for the maker which is unfortunate as the ring is so unusual and attractive that it would be nice to know who designed and crafted it. The band itself is wide and engraved with irregular vertical lines that resemble tree bark. It is about one half of an inch wide at the center tapering to one quarter of an inch at the back. There are loops of sterling silver piled high at the front like petals on a chrysanthemum with a single pearl at the top. The ring sits about one half of an inch high on the finger and the loops extend beyond the width of the band. This unique and fabulous ring is size 5 1/2-3/4. It is in excellent condition with an attractive patina and looks absolutely stunning on.
