This is a C1940-50 Raggedy Ann Doll Handmade Brown Yarn Hair Yellow Dress Missing Arm. This 21 inch cloth Raggedy Ann doll is a handmade pattern doll dating to the 1950s-60s. She is missing her left arm. It is interesting to note that she has brown yarn hair, embroidered features with single eyelashes, brown shoe button eyes, and embroidered nose. Her cotton body is stuffed with sponge foam (you could buy bags of this at the local 5 & 10 store). The foam is most likely responsible for the very light foxing to the cotton fabric body. She is dressed in her yellow calico dress, cotton half slip, and matching pantaloons. Another arm can be made from the pattern and slipped into the side seam. This a cheery and happy Ann doll, colorfully dressed.
