Madame Alexander Cissette Doll 1957 Black Velvet Gown Fur Stole 973 Stunning
This is a 1957 Madame Alexander 9 inch Cissette Doll in her original black velvet gown and fur stole #973. She is in pristine clean condition and was not played with or displayed. Cissette is a jointed hard plastic doll with jointed knees. She has a hint of blush to her cheeks, red lips, all her face paint, triple drop rhinestone earrings, gold elastic rhinestone bracelet, elaborately styled perfect blond triple stitched wig (no roses in her hair but no evidence that she had any), very tight joints with arms holding a pose nicely, and you can tell that she has always worn her clothes and has never been undressed. She is very very crisp. The black velveteen has left some color transfer to each side of her torso and to her back. She is wearing her tagged black velveteen a-line gown with sequin trim on the bodice and black velvet ribbon straps, white fur stole with pink cabbage roses (the fur is still the original white), shell pink taffeta half slip with gathered lace at the hem, pink taffeta lave trimmed panties, perfect seamed hose and black elastic high heels (elastic only a tad loose). She is stunning and an extremely beautiful Cissette.
