This is a C1950s Madame Alexander Alexander-kins Doll in a Green and White Stripe Dress. She is a clean 7-1/2 inch hard plastic straight-leg walker with the head-turning mechanism working very smoothly. The hips are tight and the arms hold a pose. This little cutie has blue molded lash sleep eyes, some color to her cheeks, and red lips. She has a fancy brunette hairdo in the original set.
It appears she may have been redressed in the tagged “Alexander-kins” dress. It is a clean green and white striped cotton with rickrack trim. Her white taffeta panties look replaced but have been on her a long time. The black center tie shoes are a newer replacement. Her straw hat is wonderful with miniature fruit trim in excellent condition. The dress may have had holly berry trim at the waist. No box.
