This is a C1940s Arts and Crafts Turquoise and Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace Possibly made by studio artist and silversmith Mary Gage. (She began making jewelry in the 1920s, and in recent years, her jewelry has enjoyed increased interest as The Arts and Crafts movement has come to the fore and also the increased interest in her as a studio artist and silversmith.) The piece is unsigned and tests positive for sterling silver. The large turquoise stone is bezel set and "dangles" are set on each side of the pendant are very reminiscent of other Mary Gage pieces that I have seen. The chain measures 19 inches and the pendant itself measures 2 inches long and about 1 3/4 inch wide. The condition is excellent.
