This is from the Napier Company and the 60's This is colored gold but is not real but a very nice metal. Side to side it is 2 1/4 and front to back it is also 2 1/4 but it has an side insert opening. It has a nice color and firm opening and closure. It is a little bit over 1/4 inch wide. Napier is a very superior jewelry maker. It will come in a velvet bag and pretty gift box.
