This commemorative spoon sponsered by the Palace of Arts Building, that is featured in the bowl of this spoon. On the handle of the spoon is featured horses and packed wagons heading to the Louisiana Purchase. Also on this side is 1803 which is the date of the St Louis Worlds Fair. The back of the spoon is marked Sterling in two places, and the Words Louisiana Purchase Exposition in script writing. These Sterling spoons became very popular 1890's to the 1920's. This spoon is 5 1/2 inches long. Very Collectable.
