Massive covered Irish silver cup, over 40oz, c. 1783

This heavy large cup is in excellent condition except for small nicks and natural wear and tear - see images. It measures 12 3/4 inches in height with the lid and ~9.0 inches in width including handles. It is hallmarked on the body and on the rim of the lid. The hallmarks include IdotI for an Irish maker Joseph Jackson, letter L for the year 1783, harp crowned, and hibernia for Dublin, Ireland. The cup weighs 40.9 oz.
