The spoon is of excellent quality, with beautiful vine decorations. It is made of very heavy gauge silver. It is hallmarked with lion passant for sterling silver, leopard's head for London, date letter t for the year 1834, king's head as a duty mark. It was made perhaps by Jonathan Hayne. The spoon is really superb. Condition is excellent with minor scratches. Length: 8 3/4 inches, bowl width: 2 1/8 inches, weight: 3.6 oz.
