A rare well-made candlestick made in Brazil in the second half of 19th century (this is a second Brazilian candlestick we have in the store). It is hallmarked with a letter P, a pseudomark used in Brazil to denote solid silver (and modeled after the corresponding Portuguese solid silver mark used in Porto). It is also hallmarked with a maker's mark F over DG. Condition is excellent, just minor dents - see pictures - no other other damages. Height: 8.5 inches, width (bottom stand): 4 3/4 inches, width (top): 2.5 inches, weight: 12.2 oz.
