The ladle has beautiful shell decorations in the bowl. The pattern is Onslow. It is hallmarked with crowned leopard's head for London, UK, lion passant
for sterling silver, a maker's mark, and a date letter. The date letter is hard to decipher but the shape of the hallmark indicates that it was made sometime between 1739 and 1755. This gorgeous item is in perfect shape, no damages just minor tarnish.
Length: ~ 13.0 inches, width (bowl): 3.5 inches, weight: 6.1 oz.
